[ARCHIVED] Storm Lake Seeking Housing Rehabilitation Applicants

The City of Storm Lake is seeking applicants for an owner-occupied housing rehabilitation grant application. The City anticipates being able to assist six homeowners with exterior rehabilitation of their homes in later 2020 and 2021.
Applicants must own and reside in their home and meet income qualifications as set forth in the following table:

The rehabilitation program is for exterior housing repairs only, and may include new roofs, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and foundation repairs.
Qualified and awarded applicants may be eligible for up to $24,999 in exterior repairs to their homes through a deferred forgivable loan over a five-year period following construction. The cost of the rehabilitation will be completely free if the homeowner remains in their home for five years following the project.
