The City of Storm Lake continues with the Annual Hydrant Flushing throughout the city. Flushing will continue Monday, April 12, 2021, at 7:00 am. The process will continue until all 548 hydrants are completed. If residents notice dirty or rusty-looking water they should flush their lines by running the COLD water faucet nearest the water meter for 5-10 minutes. Avoid washing white clothes until the water is clear. For more information visit www.stormlake.org/hydrant
Zone 1 – Complete
Monday, April 5th, 2021 at 7:00 am
An area bounded by Abner Bell Road on the west side from the Lakeshore on the south and bounded by Terrance Street on the east and to the north City Limits and Lakecreek also.
Zone 2 – Starting
Monday, April 12, 2021, at 7:00 am
Geneseo to Terrence Street Bounded on the north by Milwaukee Ave to the Lake. Additionally, a second area will be flushed from Barton Street to Lake Avenue bounded on the north by 9th street and bounded on the south by Milwaukee Ave.
