At the start of each council meeting the mayor will ask if there is anyone who wishes to address the Council on a non-agenda item. At that time you may address the Council. If you are present to address the Council on an item that is on the agenda, you may address the Council when that item is being discussed.Mayor & Council
For the quickest response you may contact the city manager or the city clerk with your concern, and our staff will try to address the issue or provide you feedback.
If your concern is related to a service issue, such as potholes, traffic light outages, or other service-related matters, please consider using our online service request system for assistance. -
City elections are held the first Tuesday in November every other year on odd numbered years. Terms are staggered and not all Council members will be elected at one time. Council members and the mayor serve four-year terms.Mayor & Council

In order for the Council to act on any item it must be on the Council agenda, which needs to be published at least 24 hours in advance of each Council meeting.Mayor & Council
Items to be placed on the agenda are processed through the city clerk’s office and must be received by noon on the Wednesday prior to the Council meeting in which the item is to be discussed.
