1. Can I rent the open shelters in the City of Storm Lake parks?

Yes, most of our open shelters are available for rent. By renting an open shelter within the Storm Lake Parks system, you are guaranteed to have the facility during the time that you need it. Rentals can be requested through our online reservation system.

Online rental requests will be held until 5:00 PM on the following business day from the date the request was made - provided the request is made at least 10 days in advance of the rental. The date will be officially booked upon receipt of payment for the rental fee.

2. If I want to have a concert in the band shell, do I have to do anything to rent the facility?

The band shell is available for rent but rental is not required. By renting the band shell you are guaranteed to have the facility during the time that you need it.

The Storm Lake Parks system is a great place to honor the life of a loved one. You can do so through a donation to the system.
