In previous years, checking in and checking out of the campground has at times created overlaps of new campers coming in when departing campers have not yet left. With a check out time of 1:00 PM and a check in time of 3:00 PM, there is limited time to perform maintenance tasks to transition between guests. Mowing, trash removal, general site preparation and, at times, picking up after family pets are necessary duties to ensure each guest at the facility has an enjoyable experience. Much of this work must be completed between the hours of 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
To encourage guests to be courteous and mindful of the needs of others, fees have been established for early check-ins and late check-outs. With the kindness fellow campers most often show to one another, the need to use these fees may be minimal. Those fees are:
Early check in prior to noon - $20.00
Early check in after 12:00 P.M. and prior to 3:00 P.M. - $10.00
Late check out after 1 P.M. - $10.00 per hour
