[ARCHIVED] City Moves Forward in Comprehensive Plan Development - Seeks Public Input

Storm Lake, Iowa – The City of Storm Lake and its consultant HKGi are moving forward in the development of the City’s new comprehensive plan with a three day charrette process and we need the community’s help.

This charrette process will involve additional study of the current community profile as well as starting the development of the vision for the future of the community.

The efforts of the charrette will be the start of some of the key pieces of the final plan outlining potential visions for the community through graphic images. This is the community’s plan and the public’s input is important in this process.

These draft visions will be available for the public to review and provide comments on directly with the design team on Wednesday, February 29th from 7AM to 9AM at Storm Lake City Hall, 620 Erie Street.

The community is invited to stop by anytime during the pin up session (between 7AM and 9AM) on Wednesday to see the work completed by the consultants and to provide their comments.

Additional information on the City’s comprehensive plan process can be found online at www.stormlakecompplan.com or by calling City Administration at 712-732-8000.
